Jay Bennett & Edward Burch at Canal St. Tavern. Warren Zevon had just died and they tried to play Carmelita. That sparked an argument which caused Edward to storm out of the building and Jay to throw a beer bottle at him as he left. The sound guy got him to come back and they finished the set.

This is true, but the larger scam pattern (web3/metaverse/crypto/etc) is what many of us are trying to give voice to — folks have to recognize that letting those bad actors define "tech" is just like media letting bad actors frame every other "debate". It's losing before we even start.
