Dad was pretty cool. Movie on TV was “Midway” Later on tv, “Monty Python Holy Grail” Sometime around 1976, we got our first video game. Then he took me to see “Animal House” at the theater. (I was 14) I’m 1 of 4 kids. Seeing movies became our thing. We saw 100s together.

Avon Ladies Just remembered that was a thing. My mom got me a moon landing shampoo set. 🧑🏻‍🚀🌖 The bottle was the lunar orbiter and the cap was the lunar lander. Included a roll-n-move game. The cap was a dreidel-like D4 for the game. www.ebay.com/itm/11584357...

I see that they're re-releasing Magical Athlete. Love, love, love, this simple sleeper game. Great intro for kids to auction mechanics. I wish I was more excited about the new art. Tastes vary. I just saw an image of new race game themed on team mascots. Now THAT would've been cool for MA.

I found a nice reframing for a thought that stopped me cold the other day. Doing part of my day job the other day. I’m feeling a bit off, for reasons. Anyway, I heard myself thinking “I used to be good at this.” That sucked. A moment later I thought, “No, I’m USED TO being good at this.”
