We can throw away $120,000,000 flipping fighter jets into the sea, but can’t afford to give the pilots healthcare when they retire.

Not feeling well today. Still dealing. With the kidney attack and had a bout of racing heartbeat (213). Yes I took myself to the ER and scheduled doc visits.

I'm betting that Trump will call the Canadian elections rigged. Any takers?

Another fine day for letting my personal trainer boss me around. We talked over health strategy and then had a fun conversation on religion. I shared some of the more amusing tidbits (some Egyptian temples had giant ears carved on them -- a sort of cosmic cell phone direct to the god's ear.)

Convention weekend (Texas Furry Fiesta) and I'm at my usual post, guarding the art show. I actually love this kind of volunteer work; I get to see a lot of folks (and costumes) and don't have to tramp all over the landscape. And I get such lovely conversations, too!

Well, I was right. That one bone in my hand is broken, and their referring me to a specialist. I don't think the treatment is going to be too dramatic. We'll see what happens.

Had an X-ray of my hand today. We will see if it's broken. Meanwhile, I get to entertain the medical personnel with the story of injuring myself while Volcano hiking.
