Did you vibe code today?

The gateron yellow switches are absolute dream to type on and the sound level is quiet. The Cherry MX brown switches on my current Cooler Masterkeys Pro S are a good kind of loud. I have about a week left of using the Sofle keyboard before I make my mind up to buy one.

Five days later, the Sofle keyboard is somewhat of a mixed bag. Typing speed jumped up to 66 wpm and hit a brick wall when it comes to using Vim. Lots of relearning to do and reading up how others managed. I'm currently writing this up on my laptop's keyboard and the error rates are wild.

Currently testing out a Sofle v2 keyboard. My WPM (words per minute) dropped down between 16 to 35. It’s a shock to the muscle memory and where I was aligning my fingers on the keys.

Mutt - now that was a great email client. Then I discovered Neomutt - Might be tempted to use this again. #commandLines #cli

Re-reading The Cuckoo’s Egg by Clifford Stoll for probably the fourth time over the years. It’s such an incredible escapism and seeing how tech then was primitive yet astounding.

I have been building my own CSS framework on and off for a while so it helps building my sites within ease. It’s a nice form of reminding how I used to enjoy doing front end development.

Typescript is probably what JavaScript should have been. Or not. What am I talking about. I’m going to try Haskell instead.

This is absolutely insane to read. How is this even happening?

Aerospace on macOS is pretty sweet to use since I use i3 tiling window manager when I'm using Linux. Impressive! github.com/nikitabobko/...

Devil May Cry Netflix show is really decent. There’s synthwave tunes like this song - Dark All Day (power glove remix) feat. Tim Cappello & Indiana - GUNSHIP Love it. music.apple.com/gb/album/dar...

Absolutely loving this. What a tidy looking game.

Great thread here. Trying to recall a game from the late 80s / early 90s of a Sega Master System game averaging around £30 for new titles which is about £83 today!

I was featured on See Hear (Series 44: Episode 2) discussing about neurodiversity and it affects people's daily lives. It was a really wonderful day of filming with the crew who were fantastic too. Link: www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/epis... #neurodiversity #autism #autistic #adhd #deaf #accessibility

Psst. It’s the classic pump and dump scheme by the orange buffoon.

When considering rainbow text, don't forget to consider readability and legibility. Text filled with rainbows can be difficult to read. Same with complex rainbow backgrounds. Putting each word or letter in a different color of the rainbow could force readers to work harder.

The best thing Siri can do without fail? Setting timers. Everything else is a complete joke.

Devil May Cry theme song on @netflix.com actually censored a word in the captioning which is absolutely ridiculous. Why is this? Please allow FULL access for captioning.

I dislike screenshots of codes - please put it on codepen with a link so it’s accessible + demonstration.

Severance. One of the best TV shows and utterly well crafted.

iOS 18 is officially the worst iOS version I have ever used. They need to do another pause on new features like Apple did with Mac OS X Snow Leopard where it was a focus on improving the OS across the board, tweaks etc. Nobody needs new features or catch up with AI. Just focus on the optimisation.

What are websites you have seen lately that got your attention? Is it: Quick to load, nice UI, accessible, and responsive? Share!

AI Aloy? Saw a video and the lip movements is way obvious that it’s AI and deeply uncomfortable to watch. Please stop this fucking craze that AI needs to be everywhere. www.theverge.com/news/626695/...

Been quietly building my own CSS framework so it is a nice way to reuse it for my projects.

It would be great to have the code markdown backtick in Bluesky. `this is code`

Not entirely sure why Manchester United are planning to build a new stadium when they need to sort themselves out first. Imagine building it all then the club regulated to championship league. Why are people doing this kind of thing?

Transparent floating main navigation bar is not accessible. Ran into one recently and it messes with my vision + distraction when reading the article.

Designing your own website for yourself is clearly a bag of hurt.

Daring Fireball still looks the same for a couple of decades (if that) now. All it needs to do is to go responsive with decent text sizes. I don’t want to tap to zoom, I don’t want to go into reader mode. I just want to _read_.

I swear people are too slow to stand up against these kind of people. Feels like it’s happening all over again. www.theguardian.com/technology/2...

Found this mix on my Apple Music - must have been uploaded back in the day when iCloud music was available. It’s a damn good mix and it’s from 20 years ago. 😳

This moment is going in the history books as the moment the US became irrelevant as a global power and ushered in the start of world war 3. Zelenskyy exposed the traitors.

Saw something ridiculously funny the other night on the motorway while driving in the torrential rain. A guy in a Tesla car had his screen at full brightness creating a glow inside as he accelerated off. Looks like an UFO on the road 😂

I backed the famous kickstarter project way back in 2012 and thought it was rather cool. Glad to see this returning because tech moved so quickly. Kudos to @github.com for captioning the video ❤️
