@reckless.bsky.social @davidpierce.xyz I think I know where the hidden market for those giant party speakers is. My son played travel hockey and it seemed like every team had a kid wheeling one of those things around the rink. I'm guessing it's the same for other youth sports too.

I was at a banking technology conference this week. Besides a few stray tariff jokes no one seemed that concerned about what was about to happen. There were no sessions on what to do when SSA collapses or when business investment dries up, etc.. Really confused by the obliviousness.
