The highlight of last night’s game for me was our last-quarter composure when we took almost 3 minutes off the clock at a time when Melbourne set up well. The switching of play & controlled ball movement was soo good. That controlled ball use, led to the Hobbs goal ✅ #GoDons

Was at training today. These were my standouts. Tsatas looking good (plays opening round imo). Shiel at Half Back (kicked 2) ✅ Draper in the ruck & floating fwd, kicked 3. ✅ Bryan also kicked 3. Kako in everything. Duursma looking good. Liking Merrett rotating fwd ✅ Quick ball movement. #GoDons

Training Notes 22/1/25 - Managed session with a little match sim - Draftee's away at induction day - Hoare, Sellers and Baldwin trained, No Edwards yet - Tsatas continues to catch the eye 😍 - Caldwell involved in some match play 👀 - Davey didn't train - Draper continues to show he can play fwd 🔥

Training notes 20/1/2025 Good news on the injury front - - Shiel completed the whole session - Hobbs rehab group but moving fine, maybe a bruised shin - McKay ramping up his running. A managed session for a number of players, but it was still a 2.5 hr hit out working on skills and ball movement.

Training notes 18/1/25 About 20min qtrs match sim today, will go into that shortly. Injury update: - Hobbs limped off which looks like impact injury to his shin. - Shiel limped off too, at this stage we think flesh injury to the ankle, i.e skin off from a boot spike. - Mckay increased running load
