Just realized why my old set of IEMs just started sounding like garbage suddenly one day. I managed to blow out the right ear in such a way that it just doesn't output volume properly but otherwise sounds fine. Explains why changing the cord out did nothing.

It's weird being asked to drum for people. Like four years ago I would have told you I'm not good enough to play with people and I'm still not good enough in my eyes, but I've had a couple people ask me to sit in with them now and I've had to turn em down.

I like the tone of these IEMs. I wouldn't use them for like.. recording drums because the boost on the bass is a bit much. Not overpowering by any means, and I usually hate lots of bass, but these ones are alright, maybe a tiny bit lacking on the highs. They're HeyGears Zero:Red's, if you're curious
