Game #9 of 2025 Completed: Gorogoa A very unexpected purchase turned into a 2-hour delight. The puzzle mechanics are something I’ve never seen, dealing with perception and framing in a truly unique and clever way. A short but really delightful jaunt. Gotta check out more Annapurna stuff now.

I’ve never empathized with the physical confusion a protagonist showed than with this moment in Expedition 33. The look Gustave gives the camera with his hands out was my exact feel. Absolutely expected some sort of insane transformation and uhhhhhh. Nope. Just an angry rock. I love it.

Getting a job in games media seemed almost unattainable when I broke in back in 2005. In the years since, it’s become almost impossible and ultimately inadvisable. I can’t imagine trying to break in today. Independent is pretty much the only option now. Support your favorite creators directly.
