I’m David Harth. I’m old and I love comics. I’ve written for CBR and now write for ComicBook.com. I also have a Substack, Crusty Old Fan. I was main character of Comics Twitter one time and AnneLovesComics’ fans spent two days sending me death threats.

I think my favorite thing about Absolute Flash so far is that I’m still not sure exactly what is going on with the book. That feeling of not know what’s going on puts Wally and I in the same boat, and I love it.

Read my comics today. I read books according to how much I like them. You know what book I read last? Wolverine. You know who my favorite character is? Wolverine. It’s just such a blah book. Maybe if I hadn’t read Hama this would be okay. As it is, it’s just a rehash.

I’m not ashamed to say the ending of Andor made me ugly cry.

Is anyone else getting booted out of the @legaleagle.tv’s new YouTube video? Other videos play that one doesn’t for some reason, so I know it’s not my Internet.

So, I’m not having the best… life lately. Things are all pain and hopelessness again. It is what it is. Anyway, I was at the comic store and I found this - The Last Will and Testament of the DC Universe. It came out around Final Crisis, and it’s by Brad Meltzer, Adam Kubert, and Joe Kubert. 1/

Crazy how long this conversation has been going on

You can make money doing what you love if you work at it, it’s okay you’re not as successful as the people who came before you. It’s okay that things took longer for you than everyone else. It’s okay. It hurts, but you’re not dead. Glory in that.

Your School House Rock moment......

Yesterday, I found a bunch of Ennis/Dillon Hellblazer (I think #63 to #74 or something) and most of the first fourteen issues of Generation X. It was nice.

Post the best panel of X-Men you can think of right now.

I feel like Cardassian kanar tastes like Jagermeister.
