Wouldn't a new story from C.W. Blackwell make your day a lot better? We've got one over at Reckon. Come see. @cwblackwell.bsky.social

Yeah, Jimmy Eat World promised everything would be alright, but they also said “When the world caves in, what you gonna do?”

From @booksbeyondwords.bsky.social for our boy.

For the evening crowd.

For the evening crowd: my latest for @mysterytribune.bsky.social. All about @alexkenna.bsky.social’s thrilling and emotionally resonant debut, WHAT MEETS THE EYE

Check out Curtis Ippolito's @curtisippolito.bsky.social story "Green and California Bound," over on the MYSTERY HOUR podcast! podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/g...

Well, this is very cool. My Anthony Award-nominated story, “Green and California Bound,” is now available as an audio story! It just dropped yesterday and Rabia Chaudry is so good. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/t...

I met Rich Ehisen at Left Coast Crime in Bellevue where he moderated a panel I was on. I was impressed by his thoughtfulness then & can now say the same of him as an interviewer. Even still, he keeps things casual, so we basically had a 45-minute conversation. Sit in and listen: shorturl.at/4KC0i

Watch me and Rich discuss the craft of writing, how award nominations might alter your approach to the page, and much more. A big thank you to Rich for having me on. na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com?url=https%3A...

If you’ve read this fantastic novel by @steveweddle.bsky.social, you’re probably as surprised as I am by the lack of award recognition. That said, I nominated it for the Macavity Award for the Sue Feder Memorial Historical Mystery. Have a ballot? Show The County Line some love & do the same.

Big thanks to Jeff for inviting me into the Dossier fold.

Same, but native flower seeds.

Hey, here’s some more books I liked. You might like them too. Go on, get some @lauramchugh.bsky.social @curtisippolito.bsky.social @robwhart.bsky.social @nkolakowski.bsky.social @bamawriter.bsky.social @steveweddle.bsky.social and @meaganlucas.bsky.social Fun was had! #BookSky 📚🪓 #SummerRecs

Macavity Award ballots are out, & instead of shilling for myself, I suggest nominating “Blood in the Water” by @craigclevenger.bsky.social. It appeared in The Amber Waves of Autumn anthology & has lived rent free in my head ever since I read it. Definitely deserving & gets my nomination.

Still stoked!

I was away for a bit so this post is a bit late, but I’m so dang happy that @robdsmith.bsky.social is nominated for a Best Debut Anthony for GOOD LOOKING UGLY! @shotgunhoney.com

My sibling found my novel today in the Central San Diego bookstore for sale. 🤘

Well this video fell flat on its face. My goal was to get this info out to those readers who might like my type of fiction. So now I fall upon my sword to ask if you’d mind sharing this and hopefully it gets in front of those who enjoy dirtbags being destroyed. #BookSky 📚🪓 www.bishopriderbooks.com

This story answer the inevitable question of what happens to everyday people when only the rich can afford to thrive through climate change-destroyed neighborhoods. Colin brought it and you’re gonna love this one like me and the RHP team’

A new interview from my 2025 series with BULL LIT dropped today. This one is with Edgar winning author of HOLY CITY, Henry Wise @mrbullbull.bsky.social

Can’t wait for you to read this one! Kendall’s story is set in the Everglades, shining a light on the devastation climate change is causing there. It’s a great story that also explores family, and greed.

There should really be an Intervention type show for antivaxers. “Your ignorance has negatively impacted the health of society in the following ways.”

If you’ve read Mary, you KNOW this story’s gonna rock your world. It’s so great and shows how the consequences of climate change didn’t just start happening recently.

My dude brought it! Can’t wait for you all to read this timely story and the entire anthology, which will be one excellent story after another.

Starting this summer @erykpruitt.bsky.social brings his DIRTBAGS series to @rhppress.bsky.social . Check out the trailer here: bit.ly/4jKY3nL Stay tuned!
