iOS UI peaked 2-3 years ago and now they're just making shit up to have a new release each year. Why not just release a new iOS update with usable feature upgrades and stop degrading the look of the UI with awful, "inventive," design options.

It will never happen but imagine if Apple released their own UI and updates each year, but you could choose which one of their design looks from previous years you wanted to use, while keeping new features. Or open UI options to 3rd party developers (probably no shot in this every happening)

Nimmo has gotta catch that ball. Was a good game between the Mets and Dodgers and had fun watching it. Well done to Freddie and the Dodgers, but it feels anticlimactic for the game to end on a missed play in the outfield. Mets 1-1 Dodgers. Going into the series decider tomorrow.

Putting Verstappen on new hard tires with 7 laps to go when the rest of the field is on new softs is crazy work from the Red Bull strategy team. If you're out of softs and your used set has 6 laps on them, you've gotta finish the race on that used set. RB just threw this man's race. #F1

Substack has a "prefer app" notifications but there is no real way to follow accounts there without getting bombarded by email updates. Instead of preferring app notifications why isn't there any option to just not get sent emails.

Playing through Mass Effect Legendary Edition and this game is absolute cinema. While remastered, it still has dated aspects that I really enjoy. It feels like it has a type of identity and charm that is hard to find in a lot of modern games.
