CNN’s Jason Carroll was zip-tied and escorted away—for reporting the news. But they claimed he wasn’t under arrest? Why are they shooting rubber bullets at and silencing journalists? We still have a First Amendment.

The criminals are Trump, Miller, Noem and Homan, not the hardworking people that are being thrown in for-profit prison camps.

The legal idocracy at work.

Palantir is happy to compile reams of data on all of us. Not so happy to have the light shined on their shadowy surveillance marketing.

We do have an invasion, but it's not from Argentina. It's led by a conman and a thuggery of telegenic, not-overly-bright, cabinet picks.

As Trump's fellatio of the anti-LGBTQ sect continues by shutting down Dupont Circle Park for Pride Week, @petulawrites.bsky.social reminds us that DC has a history of overcoming backwards actions by the government actors. www.washingtonpost.com/history/inte...

We make jokes about this sometimes because it’s laughable. But when journalists try to make sense of the nonsensical, rational out of the irrational, and coherence out of the incoherence, they affirmatively do the public interest great harm.

Can we nominate wee Stephen Miller to be thrown in the ring too? www.thecrimson.com/article/2025...

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman approved the murder and dismemberment of journalist Jamal Khashoggi because he saw him as "a threat to the Kingdom and broadly supported using violent measures if necessary to silence him," per U.S. intelligence www.washingtonpost.com/context/inte...

Might be time to consider getting religion. Go Episcopalians!

Two men claiming to be newly appointed Trump appointees were blocked from entering the US Copyright Office this morning. Scoop from @knibbs.bsky.social www.wired.com/story/us-cop...

@freedom.press is one of the orgs with a helpful guide for leaking to the press.

Columbia keeps getting it wrong.

@chrismurphyct.bsky.social explaining her own illegal actions to Noem while wondering what his gop committee members have done with their spines.

So much clowning.

"Donald Trump has played golf 24 out of the first 99 days"

Bluebonnet Detention, is a for-profit facility, run by the privately held Management & Training Corporation. There's money to be made in disappearing people and keeping the press out.

Despite knowing the people on the search warrant weren't there, the ICE arrest team STILL took this family's phones, laptops, and life savings — and refused to leave a BUSINESS CARD so they could ask to get it back! This stuff is sadly not unique to ICE; it happens with regular police raids too.

"...these private detention centers are run by billion dollar corporations"

The power of a good spreadsheet.

Thugs of ICE are kidnapping legal residents of the United States and sowing terror by leaving a 20 something year old woman on a backwoods road, hours from anywhere. Maine police are helping them.

I'm reposting @billkristolbulwark.bsky.social Things have really really gotten out of hand.

@vanhollen.senate.gov was stopped by soldiers at a checkpoint on the way to CECOT, but he persevered, knowing that Kilmar had no contact with any family or friends since his abduction by the United States Immigration Agency

"Due process protects all of us from false accusations and abuses of the government"

More and more abductions. No due process. No phone calls. No family members notified.

"what they’re doing is systematically gutting all efforts to protect service members, and all Americans, from fraud and scams while simultaneously letting Wall Street, Big Banks and Big Tech off the hook.
