Reading Kanye's lyrics from his Hitler song, it seems he believes it's society's fault for calling him out for being a terrible person. Now that he feels exposed he embraces his identity publicly, and is going full on Nazi. Because I guess working on your shit is just too hard for some people...

Thank you to all of the hardworking labor activists, workers, and freethinkers who pushed for an 8 hour workday, a 40 hour workweek, and overtime pay. Time to connect with family, friends , and your inner muse… time to cook a real meal… time to read, think, play, and learn something new.

Upped my contributions by 200% to PBS and added NPR to my contributions list. This is an important time for those of us who have enjoyed years of public media without contributing to accept a little pain in the pocket to make sure public broadcasting continues to operate at full capacity.

Spending the morning reading Ryan North's and Albert Monty's adaptation of Kurt Vonnegut's Slaughter House-Five. Same as it ever was:

The missive of evil-minded people goverened by good-willed people is a call to equality The missive of good-minded people governed by evil-willed people is a call to equality Democracies that don't provide people with the tools needed to distinguish one scenario from the other will always fall

Prime canceled. Use Shop to to purchase directly. Traded in Audible for Libro.FM / picked local BIPOC bookstore to support. PBS Passport purchased. Supporting Maximum Fun. Off Facebook and X. Fired my financial advisor because he wasn't on board with ethical investing. Money meet mouth.

My dog is jealous it's #caturday.

I finished reading Bone, Vol. 5. One of the cool parts about getting these books from the library is the reminder that sometime, someplace, someone else was holding this book and sharing this adventure with me. Some might get mad at the note, but the sentiment is validating.

When it's a dog-eat-dog world, maybe consider being a cat. #Caturday.

This is a thing I never knew you could do, and given the states of things, I'm going to be pushing for a payment in the form of a single dirty sock and a stick of pocket warm bubble gum.

Years of digital memories now fund our worst nightmares... Convenience leveraged to silence freedom of speech. DNA up for grabs as companies collapse and assets are sold to the highest bidder. It's looking a bit less like the prequel to Star Trek these days, and a bit more like Star Wars.

When the world feels like a crazy place, it's great to get out into the community and experience some normalcy. Had a great time at the @wmse917fm.bsky.social Rockabilla Chili event today, where they had an awesome fundraising event for Hunger Task Force.

I once had the idealistic vision I could take my media with me wherever I traveled in the world. In 2025 I've had to load down my NAS with digital files, because companies are pulling the rug out from under us, removing content we paid for. The good faith in cloud media is out. The fix is in.

Quietly thinking to myself in the corner that no one is paying attention to, that #POTUS is such a German history fanboy, he's intentionally crashing the economy in hopes of recreating the collapse of the Weimar Republic and enablement of a Reichstag Fire Decree-like situation. Why else destroy 14?

This #caturday brought to you by Eddie cats and Grandma blankets.

Grifters gunna grift.

Joining a new social media platform reminds me of the one and only time I went to a strip club. Cheers to the entrepreneurship, but alas I'm no longer the youthful twenty-something who giggles and hands over $20 because someone in a thong talks to me. Thanks for the follows, though.

#caturday cuddles.
