I remember being able to buy flowers, plant flowers, open the pool and have it ready by Monday on Memorial Day weekend This year, I feel like I busted my ass (my sore body says so) and still haven’t finished planting. I do have bigger projects this year, but I’m shocked i didn’t finish yesterday. 👴🏻

It’s frickin’ cold in Western Pa. By far, the crappiest month of May that I can remember. It’s either rained or been colder than average. I have a special cold hardy Crape Myrtle being delivered today and I have no desire to be outside getting more sore in wet, 50° weather planting it

After spending 4 days in the hospital 2 weeks ago to get rid of a severe kidney infection… I have had an incredible amount of energy that I haven’t had in a long time.. My body on the other hand does not share in this enthusiasm. I am so sore and unable to take ibuprofen/advil :(
