First messy breakup of pride month… @myvoicemychoice.bsky.social

Matt Miller says Israel has 'without doubt' committed war crimes in Gaza. But last year, @premthakker.bsky.social asked the State Dept why it wouldn’t enforce its own laws in response to Israeli war crimes. Miller responded by personally attacking him, suggesting he had ulterior motives.

'We’re being punished for trying to extend what little help we can to a population living through the worst conditions imaginable. As a mother to a 10-month-old baby, I carry profound shame over what my country is subjecting children to.' // writes Lee Caspi ✍️ www.thenational.scot/politi...

Great advice. Seems simple too!

It’s brave for him to say it. Yes, it’s obvious. But still brave.

England’s water companies have 1,135 criminal convictions. United Utilities 205; Thames Water 187. They dump sewage into rivers; directors not prosecuted; fleece customers; pay dividends. What if you had 1,135 criminal convictions? One law for corporations, another for us.

Don't ask why the police released details of the Liverpool driver's ethnicity ask why the police felt they had to.

Today marks 8 years since the senseless attack at the Manchester Arena killed 22 people. We'll never forget them, and we owe it to them to ensure that this can never happen again, which is why I was proud to see Martyn's Law pass through Parliament and become law in April. 🐝💛

Never seen anyone so proud of railway puns in my life @juliabuckley.bsky.social And what a platform to deliver them on.

The idea that companies are legally required to "maximise profit" is a lie. Section 172 of the Companies Act says otherwise. Companies must consider people, planet, and community — not just shareholders. But nobody enforces the law. By @richardjmurphy.bsky.social

Jesus fucking Christ.

Sharon’s right

Dear @andrewlewinmp.bsky.social Maybe reach out to Richard to talk about this more? Quick wins for the consumer are vital to bring down the cost of living. Especially the elderly and disabled who bear a higher burden.

Head of the Scottish TUC is absolutely right. People wanted change, if Starmer continues to be a continuity Conservative of the One Nation tradition he risks a Farage government. www.thenational.scot/news/2510322...

Heaven help us

🤣

🤣

The public wants radicalism but not recklessness, change but not chaos. New polling from UCL Policy Lab and More in Common reveals that there is no appetite for a British Trump. www.ucl.ac.uk/policy-lab/n...

Quelle surprise

I’d urge my MP @andrewlewinmp.bsky.social to rebel on this. These cuts will push people in poverty further into poverty, and quite likely end lives. The disabled being killed by Putin or Labour makes no difference to the disabled.
