The Fed Gov't should have pressed domestic EV makers to stick w/the $15k model in exchange for subsidies/tax benefits. This would have boosted the industry & ended the awful used car sector. And it would have had serious environmental impact. But instead 🇺🇸 just gave Musk billions. #TeslaTakedown

Sadly, the EV Subsidies were always useless to middle and working class people. Had the cars been sold for, say, $15k, then they money would have made a huge difference. But these EV's are extremely expensive for most Americans. So it was always bullcrap.
