Hot take is that it's not Cons/PPs fault. I hate them too but we have an ancient electoral system that someone promised to change. How dumb is it that the opposition leaders, aka the highest profile critics of the gov, do not secure a seat under FPTP (assuming their party wins at least 1 seat).
