Happy pride!! I'm spending this month working on my first draft I guess, but while waving a pride flag from my desk

I’m on a wonderful group holiday and as we near the end I fear that the human shape is faltering. (Lycanthropy or neurodivergence?? The answer is yes’)

As noted previously, I will trans HARDER

body autonomy for all, trans liberation now

Even if all you're doing is fandom stuff that "doesn't give JKR a penny," IT DOES THOUGH. It keeps her legacy alive. It keeps her work popular. Which likely makes someone somewhere give her a few pennies going forward. Queer-friendly fantasy writers exist in abundance. Please come find us!🌈📚🪐

Good fucking lord

it's friday! and on fridays we dance! 💃🎶🕺

(1/?)Someone close to me asks about food a lot, there are MANY significant food centric scenes in Dustlings and The WO because of this. Dustlings has a lot of very important conversations around food, but it's also used as a way of sharing culture among friends. Wilrick, a dwarf, makes an-

kind of obsessed with 2025 pride merch...I'm calling it cowardcore.

I believe a crucial part of being a fully-realized human in 2025 is knowingly and joyfully hiding huge swaths of your life and experiences from the ever-gluttonous eyes of the Internet. It is also a genuinely meaningful act of personal resistance

too many people have been conditioned by corporate social media into believing that if you do something and don’t post about it online, it doesn’t count. you must destroy the Mark Zuckerberg who squats within your head.

this is also your reminder that people who have to beg for rent or other necessities are allowed to do something nice for themselves like order food once a month or replace a part for their pc or buy their dog a dog bed or something. Do not police poor people or their small pieces of joy

fuck Target's sad beige pride. You don't have to like rainbows to be loud and proud; AND you can support a currently-unemployed trans artist! (many more at link) www.teepublic.com/user/chekhov...

casual reminder that when you donate money to someone, it's not your money anymore. if they use it in ways you don't like, oops too bad. if it's a scam, oops but there are thousands upon thousands of people in need and you shouldn't stop giving because of one bad egg. please get over it.

Unbound needs to see consequences, not only is all this fraudulent, they are also so shitty they wait till the due date of promised payouts to renege, thereby screwing over every writer who has actually budgeted for it. Beyond disgraceful and shameful, industry boycott should be the starting point

I just got a random message through my website’s contact form from someone who liked a story and now an entirely mediocre day is a day I’m going to be thinking about for months 😭😭😭 If you’ve ever thought about sending a writer a note about a story… you absolutely should do that. Please do that.

This person was all “if you weren’t BORN a woman you shouldn’t use the women’s bathroom” And I was all “I guess no one can use it then because no human has ever birthed a woman” Anyway she deleted her post.

How dare my disability disable me. RUDE.

Never, ever, ever. I'd rather quit and go back to hooking.

Hey everyone, so Pride month is coming up. Be sure to support LGBTQ+ folks instead of spending all of your money at these blood corporations that put rainbows over their icons. Then go back to “Ahh finally we can get rid of this stupid rainbow and continue to help remove these peoples rights.”

(1/?) I'll never forget before coming out/figuring out my gender, I had two different people ask if I was trans fem. Or, rather, I had one person ask if I was trans fem and one tell me I would never be a real woman. I've always struggled with my appearance because I had sparse, dark facial hair-

Reposting because apparently we're doing this again.

I cannot catch a break, my jaw has been causing me an insane amount of pain (the muscles that work the hinge on the right side were cramping when I was eating all day and I couldn't not eat) and today I have a migraine. It's gonna be a take it easy kinda week, unfortunately.

I will always prefer to write a book with my own meat brain. My wonderful autistic meat brain that manages mental illnesses. It’s wonderfully imperfect and all mine.

Dipshits: "You can't take a book seriously unless it's trad pub." Trad pub:

In so much of life we fail to meet the moment of using our position/voice to amplify others Let's all try to be better on all issues but especially when it comes to trans issues and voices Typing out "trans issues" makes me feel sick, the only issue is why won't the right leave them alone

Just cause I saw someone using it incorrectly (again). Kill your darlings doesn't mean killing your characters! It means being willing to get rid of lines/material that don't work in your story no matter how much you love them. Quiller-Couch, Wilde, and Faulkner wanna talk to y'all.

Queerly beloved, I know it's frustrating to hear, but the way to do a thing is to start doing the thing You make comics by making comics You write stories by writing stories You play music by playing music You become good by starting off bad and practicing until you're better, that's all it is

I don't want to streamline creation either. I'd much rather we build a society that pays us enough and frees up more of our time to do the things that bring us joy. But it feels like we're doing the exact opposite.

You could also, in theory, fill this out to look legit and make her waste time that way.

sometimes the right thing to do is unrewarding, uncomfortable, and unsatisfying

BURN IT DOWN for sure!

I've added my signature also, I hope this makes a difference.

Nobody's ever really captured, to my satisfaction, the way that the internet -- though it promises infinitude, all of human experience & history & art & thought in one place -- has instead produced a kind of narrowing & flattening of experience, made the world seem *less* magic & full of wonder.
