Glorious, sunny 🌞 Sunday morning for @Amathusdbc #Dragonboat 🐲 training. 2 boats, big & small, out, working hard in preparation for the next BDA National league event in Stockton next Sunday. Lots of other craft on the water too - including a speedboat towing a pontoon 🙂

Three @Amathusdbc #Dragonboat s 🐲 out tonight & racing each other on a warm night with a cool breeze. Lots of turning practice on this session for the helms & the crews. Left & right buoy turn races, finishing with a race around the island & finally a short sprint race.

Nice evening for @Amathusdbc #Dragonboat 🐲 training - preparing for the first race event of the season on Sunday. Boats cleaned, then out on the water in 2 boats, trying different turn techniques to see which works best. Some powerful runs - one boat had a tremendous drive. 💪🏻

Nice, mostly daylight @Amathusdbc #Dragonboat 🐲 training evening with a light breeze. I was asked to helm the small boat. Good fun, as it turns on a sixpence, but I had a battle keeping it level on the straights Coach did a mid-piece weight adjustment - a scary lurch then OK 😄

At this time of year the wildflowers in our garden are mostly dandelions, which we leave for the bees 🐝 This little colourful anenome does pop up each year. (Got up early to catch the morning dew? No, I cheated and used the hosepipe 😄)
