A surprise Bruce Springsteen gig for me tonight! courtesy of my very good pal David Carrick ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š

Glorious, sunny ๐ŸŒž Sunday morning for @Amathusdbc #Dragonboat ๐Ÿฒ training. 2 boats, big & small, out, working hard in preparation for the next BDA National league event in Stockton next Sunday. Lots of other craft on the water too - including a speedboat towing a pontoon ๐Ÿ™‚

Iceland ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ธ and Sweden ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ช both got my vote ๐Ÿ™‚ @eurovision.tv

The Wolverhampton pub with the tree in the gents toilet. I was looking for the poem, but it was no longer on the wall. As we were leaving the barman said he still had it and showed it to me. ๐Ÿ˜„

Bank Holiday trip to Eccleston, Lancashire today, for a mooch around Bygone Times massive warehouse of antiques, vintage, pop culture & bric-a-brac stuff. Didn't find what we were looking for, but there was a lot of tempting wants rather than needs ๐Ÿ˜„

Woohoo! A lovely little win. A single artisan Tree of Life metal keycap. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š Thank You! @monacokeys

Three @Amathusdbc #Dragonboat s ๐Ÿฒ out tonight & racing each other on a warm night with a cool breeze. Lots of turning practice on this session for the helms & the crews. Left & right buoy turn races, finishing with a race around the island & finally a short sprint race.

It's Light Jacket Day again! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Nice evening for @Amathusdbc #Dragonboat ๐Ÿฒ training - preparing for the first race event of the season on Sunday. Boats cleaned, then out on the water in 2 boats, trying different turn techniques to see which works best. Some powerful runs - one boat had a tremendous drive. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป

Nice, mostly daylight @Amathusdbc #Dragonboat ๐Ÿฒ training evening with a light breeze. I was asked to helm the small boat. Good fun, as it turns on a sixpence, but I had a battle keeping it level on the straights Coach did a mid-piece weight adjustment - a scary lurch then OK ๐Ÿ˜„

Our Jack is 21 years old today! ๐ŸŽ‚ How time flies. This cheeky little lad is now a final year student. ๐Ÿ™‚

It was a sunny Sunday morning today, with a moderate breeze. Two @Amathusdbc #Dragonboat s ๐Ÿฒout for some tough training, using our new mantra as a best form reminder.

At this time of year the wildflowers in our garden are mostly dandelions, which we leave for the bees ๐Ÿ This little colourful anenome does pop up each year. (Got up early to catch the morning dew? No, I cheated and used the hosepipe ๐Ÿ˜„)
