I’ve been thinking about Aaron’s article all day, and while I agree with @yonahfreemark.com, in our case, to unpack why ridership hasn’t recovered, you must understand the media environment - in particular, the Post and TV news - over the past 5 years. The mayor also has been a corrosive factor.

Both Adams and Cuomo already have lines on the ballot in general (as aside if you run in primary you should not be able to do that)....... some don't want to hear this but if Mandani gets Dem line, his ceiling in general would give Eric Adams a very clear path to winning again.

I am mixed on this. He dragged a G league roster + Randle to playoffs in his first year and got them within 2 games of the Finals this year and yet at same time with current roster not sure his style will get them to next level. Something had to give and roster changes are harder.
