Trans allyship isn’t aesthetics. It’s risk. It’s showing up when it’s hard, not just when it’s convenient. Be loud. Be visible. Be ready to lose comfort, because trans people have already lost far more.

the victim (a trans woman) is a navy vet, and the attackers cited Trump's anti-trans military orders specifically as motivation. one did another hate crime in September and also has a domestic violence charge from the day before. this is a few blocks from where I live 😔
