Why do people think indie authors are rich. I got five DMS today in relation to having my wonderful book advertised and reviewed on Goodreads and Amazon for a limited cost, as well as providing my book for free.

I've always seen benefits/payments etc as an investment in people. You tend to get a return on investments. Unlike statues to Queens that already have 100s of things named after them, unusable PPE etc
