Another triptych card for Star Wars Masterwork, featuring Luke & Leia facing off with a biker scout in RotJ. I mean c'mon, that has my name written ALL over it. 😄

As an ongoing side-project, just for fun, I’m making custom logos using Adobe Illustrator based on movies, TV shows & toys that I love. Back to the Future has been my #1 film for 40 years so I needed to get this one right. #80snostalgia

I’ve been reducing my social media use over the past couple of years, but do enjoy spending a couple of hours catching up on Saturday mornings, accompanied by some warm toast, mug of caffeine and a day of possibilities ahead. Whatever you’re up to, have a satisfying weekend. 😊

✏️ Sketchagraphs are one of my favourite things about the trading card community. I drew the art which was then signed by the actor, or voice actor in the case of Watto (Andy Secombe, son of comedy legend Sir Harry Secombe!) #StarWars

A 2.5" x 3.5" sketch card, drawn for a recent RRParks Cards set for Carpenter's THE THING. 🐶 We couldn't draw actor likenesses so had to get creative and delve a bit deeper. This might be the card I'm most proud, out of the 100s I've done over the years, mainly because I don't draw many animals.

✏️ I’ve listed some 2.5” x 3.5” sketch cards on ebay and each one is a hand-drawn 1/1 original. This T2 card was drawn as part of my first official set back in 2017 and it ended up back with me last year so I gave it a glow up! www.ebay.co.uk/itm/14655870...

A triptych card for Star Wars Masterwork which released last month. These cards were perfect for capturing widescreen shots. And they don’t come much wider than Jabba! 🐸

Morning BSky 👋🏻 Still feel like the new kid in class. 😅 I’ve spent almost 8 months straight working on artwork for trading card sets and the weight of the deadlines has worn me down. So, today, I’m going to draw for myself. Just for fun! Probably on Museum (aka Sktchy). ✏️

These two are off to a new home this week. The Dog Thing is one of my favourite cards I’ve ever drawn. And Savini is just a cool dude. Evil, but cool.

"Yippee!" - it's Star Wars Day!

Hello there! 👋 I'm Dave - a UK-based traditional media portrait artist with a penchant for pop culture. Drawing faces is my jam and I love connecting with like-minded folk. Good vibes with a general steer towards the 80s memories of my childhood. And all the artwork I can muster.
