Proof of life check-in. Still a bit uncomfortable with how I look now. It's a constant reminder of how sick I've been and the impact Long Covid's had, especially the GI malabsorption causing weight loss. But I also don't like hiding all that much. I'm frigging wierd.

What is common knowledge in your field but shocks outsiders? IT guys refuse to learn about Macs and will try to get you to switch to PC even though the software is optimized for Macs and Macs have a far longer shelf life/way less technical issues than PCs.

What is common knowledge in your field but shocks outsiders? 1) Illustrators are not graphic designers. That's a separate professional you need to hire and pay fairly. I'm no longer an illustrator, but this happened often. 2) No one has a "great idea for a children's book".
