Linkedin being very on point with the current political climate by suggesting I follow the Secretary General of the Untied Nations.

This has left me earwormed by Thunderstruck by AC/DC which is actually great so pleasant outcome all around.

I do find it interesting that there are many books from decades past that are practically novellas by today's standards. The first Hitchhiker's Guide book is really short compared to modern publications.

Watching a Youtube Architect channel thing looking around Michael Shannon's apartment and let out a yelp when I saw he keeps his vinyl collection on a windowsill.

This once happened to me in London while using a pelican crossing and Bill Nighy was walking the other way.

Gavin Newsom becoming the face of political resistance to the Trump administration's attempts at full on fascism is going to translate into a presidential run, right?

LOOK AT THESE BABIES! ASTERBRIG 😭😭😭

Make this, make this now and get @oldsixie.bsky.social to voice it!

Been playing about with some rough sketching I want to expand upon. Doctor Who by way of the Asterix books

And this was considered newsworthy why exactly?

Recently listened to the Big Finish Doctor Who story The High Price of Parking by @johndorney.bsky.social. Really fun slice of season 24 style Doctor Who. If you enjoy the likes of Paradise Towers and The Happiness Patrol this will be right up your street.

Good god, imagine dropping acid with Lennon, Wilson and Nilsson, and being the most normal guy in the room because you're Micky Dolenz

Started rewatching Warehouse 13. AKA what would it be like if Saul Rubinek played the Doctor.

Why is this a thing anyone needs? I open my fridge door, take out something cold and close it again. That's literally all anyone needs a fridge to do.

What's the betting that someone reads this and still recommends something by Brandon Sanderson?

Watched Captain America Brave New World this evening. Pretty enjoyable way to pass a couple of hours

I smell another writers strike coming on.

there is a specifically excellent bit where a trans woman who cannot be out in her non-game life talks about what it means to her to present and be accepted easily as exactly who she is in GTA online. I think if you don't understand that, you have missed a huge chunk of the modern world.

Currently watching Robert Altmann's adaptation of The Long Goodbye for the first time. Elliot Gould makes for an excellent Philip Marlowe.

Lovelies, here's a shiny new episode of Starship Alexandria for you! @aptshadow.bsky.social and I discuss Ursula K. Le Guin's The Lathe of Heaven, recommend some music, and announce what next month's discussion will be about. Enjoy the blooper at the end too! starshipalexandria.com/episode-3-th...

The playbook that the US government is running in Los Angeles is the same one the Empire ran on Ghorman in Andor. We've seen where this is leading because it's the same place it has historically always led. The US government will force escalation from protesters and use it to justify a military rule

I'd love a dark twist in Murder, She Wrote that leans into the meme that she's the real killer. A nice old lady who has turned her crimes into successful novels and each week bumps off some corporate jizz stain and frames an equally huge jackass for the murder.

No new Doctor Who today 😭 so look at my art instead 😌 print coming soon!

Original Galactica 1980 Turbocycle after 4 years of restoration by master modeler Jon Billings and guys from Universal Hartland, who was the effects house for Universal. See it at the Petersen Automotive Museum; exhibit running until June 5, 2026.

Kind of enjoying watching divisive or unpopular politicians in the US pulling an Eddie Valentine from the end of The Rocketeer.
