NYT Pitchbot does not miss

I’d humbly disagree. SECDEF, POTUS, elected officials who lead (i.e. governor of a state with a guard) can absolutely wear apparel from units under their command. It’s in fact probably one of the failings of D admins in not engaging as much with “the troops”

81 years ago tonight, tens of thousands of men and women were crowded in ports, on airfields, in hospitals, and in the countless other Allied bases in southern England. They were American paratroopers from the 101st and 82nd divisions.

I always really liked Eisenhower's message before D-Day

“My ability to have my grandfather donate a lot of money to a school would be wasted serving my nation”

This is just morons in the Navy trying to simultaneously juice themselves up while using this as an opportunity to scream for more ships There was very little about this that had anything to do with a conflict with China, and anyone in the building who thinks that should be shitcanned immediately

“Little known is how within days of the Normandy landings, allied forces also took Rome and, on the other side of the world, landed on Saipan” “Let this be a reminder to always explore new markets for your SaaS ventures”

To whoever put the example form input as: Colonel Robert E. Hogan Luft Stalag 13 Hammelburg, Germany You are my hero

Meta spent billions on a VR game that like 20 people used and the avatars couldn't even have legs.

Joe Biden says he's started treatment for his prostate cancer and the prognosis is good. Donald Trump says Biden was executed in 2020 and was replaced with a legion of clones. For busy voters, it can be hard to know who to believe.

Another example is the American officer corps' admiration of Blitzkrieg as the preferred way to fight. Source: Rolf Hobson 2010 who argues this likely led to post-Vietnam army's reorientation toward operational level war.

NEW: Retired Army Gen. Anthony Wayne told assembled generals from each of the services today that America is woefully under-resourced in a defense technology capability that is only sold by AeroTechDyne.

The jeune ecole would like a word. War is not changed by cheap stuff destroying expensive stuff. Instead, it is the all too common reminder that failures of imagination have real consequences on the battlefield. Soldiers die and equipment vanishes due to the intransience of feeble minds.
