The fight for LGBTQ+ rights can take its toll, yet solidarity strengthens us. We build resilience together, honouring the past while forging a future of compassion and justice. In our communities, we find healing, courage, and the power to keep going. @centreformh.bsky.social @durhamimh.bsky.social

Integrate drug and mental health services. Prioritise compassion over criminalisation, acceptance over stigma. A system rooted in care recognises that addiction is a health issue, not a crime—ensuring people receive support, not punishment. Change begins with humanity. @centreformh.bsky.social

Yes, it can happen again. 👀

This is truly devastating… am totally with @jonsparkes.bsky.social whilst there are terrible decisions on the table, this feels like a brutal and unsustainable approach bearing in mind the vulnerability of the communities being talked about here. There has to be another way…

I’m telling everyone: Do not open the door or say a word unless you’re expecting someone and know exactly who it is. Know your rights. Pass these around…

#HIV-related stigma prevent some people from accessing #healthcare and HIV services. For every one person who had a negative experience in healthcare related to their HIV status, there are even more people who will avoid it because of that.

Four years since It's a Sin! The show didn't just tell the devastating story of those we lost in the 1980s, it helped us shared the story of how much HIV has changed, driving up testing and awareness. We're still grateful.
