I mean, dear God - the people who put on the parade in 'Fun in Balloon Land' did a better job!

The assassinations in Minnesota were apparently committed by a man impersonating law enforcement. Especially dangerous at a time when law enforcement is impersonating law enforcement.

"This is not what we voted for." YES, YOU FUCKING WELL DID. The only time he's honest is when he tells you the horrors he intends to unleash. If you voted for him, this is exactly what you voted for.

I stand behind Democrats, journalists and Americans who understand this: We are living in unprecedented times; We need to do unprecedented things.

If you smell smoke, maybe it’s the Reichstag

Being created and championed by people like Altman, Zuckerberg, Musk, and other oligarchs, is it any wonder that AI lies, won't admit when it's wrong, and has no problem spreading bad information and worse 'art?' You get out of things what the people in charge put into them.

Credit where due: If Elon Musk really did steal Stephen Miller's wife? The only genuinely funny thing he's ever done.

I've thought Jake Tapper was an arrogant fraud for years - glad he's finally revealed himself in a way that is undeniable. You're not Cronkite, Jake. You're not Woodward and/or Bernstein, Jake You're next in line for Jesse Watters job.

It's okay - now that everything's crumbling around him, he can become the unfunny prop comic he's always wanted to be!

I don't know if 100 men could beat up a gorilla... but I do know I'd like to be the one to make the list of the 100 men.

... And in his office at 30 Rock, Lorne Michaels takes another handful of popcorn and shivers with delight at the thought that those he made, he might now have killed.

Lorne Michaels has become the worst of everything he used to supposedly rebel against: Trump and Musk were reportedly invited to the big SNL 50th anniversary show. I'm hoping the angry ghost of Michael O'Donoghue shows up and poltergeists that set into scrap.

I don't care who won or lost - but if it means less Mahomes on my TV that can only be a good thing.

Yeah. "Stand up," guys.

Democratic leadership, please listen closely: If our strategy is "wait for Trump to screw up" -- we will continue to lose and we will deserve it. We need a plan. We need it now. And if you can't come up with a plan, you shouldn't be in leadership.

We should be understanding when our Trump-loving friends & relatives express their own fear & concern about what's happening to the country. We should hear them out, weigh their opinions, feel empathy for their plight, & then lean into their faces and scream "FUCK YOU!!!" as loudly as possible.

This is what happens when the opposition refuses to acquiesce.

Friendly reminder: Anyone who says "Hitler had a few good ideas" REALLY means "Hitler only had good ideas."

They break, don't build. They harm, don't help. They hate, don't love.

Don’t fear Trump. Ridicule him.

Instead of flipping off that Tesla when it cuts you off in traffic, give the drivers a Nazi salute. Remind them whose pockets they're filling.

We shouldn't have to say this, but... Being autistic doesn't make you a stupid racist POS. Elon decided to be that, it's not a symptom. Don't let them get away with slurring good and decent autistic people in a cynical attempt to save their own skins.

INCOMING ADMINISTRATION: "We are Alphas! We're the pinnacle of human evolution! The smartest, the toughest, the strongest, the top of the food chain!" WEATHER FORECAST FOR INAUGURATION DAY: Nippy. INCOMING ADMINISTRATION: "Fuck that."

Here’s a rarity: Christopher De Vore, Eric Bergren & David Lynch’s screenplay for The Elephant Man #scriptsky cinephiliabeyond.org/elephant-man...

I know he thinks his official portrait makes him look like a tough, scary strongman... but to me he looks like Pearl Forrester from MST3K making a silly evil face. (My apologies to @maryjopehl.bsky.social)

I got to be friends with David Lynch when we were both at Universal years ago. A very kind man, he was a fan of Bob's Big Boy. So was I. I'm going to miss him. R.I.P. David.
