Like I said a few times before, it was NEVER about campus protests or anti-semitism. It was always about seizing control of higher education through govt blackmail and coercion.

Secret Service is knocking on doors of James Comey & social influencers for posting eighty six 47 memes While MAGA asshats like Mike Davis freely suggest Trump unleash "terrorists" on SCOTUS Justices and other members of the judiciary Fascism much? The hypocrisy & double standards know no bottom

"I want people to be safe and protected. I want to live on the right side of history. I am an immigrant. My parents are refugees from Chile. We fled a dictatorship and I was privileged enough to grow up in the United States after asylum in Denmark. I stand by those protections, always."

Being antiracist is punk.

Riddle me this stupids… Why is BLOTUS so pissed at Amazon if tariffs are a good thing for America?

Trump is purging museums. You know who else purged museums?? Hitler. www.wusa9.com/article/news...

When the moment came, Harvard didn’t hedge or flinch—it stood up. A reminder that integrity isn’t complicated, it’s just rare.

Enough is enough.

Or one might also ask: Can Trump withstand Harvard's? Stop implying that he is invincible. He won't be if we--and you, New York Times--don't let him be. Can Harvard Withstand Trump’s Financial Attack? www.nytimes.com/2025/04/22/u...

•••••BREAKING••••• Army Gen. Michael Erik Kurilla — who leads U.S. Central Command — used a secure U.S. government system to send Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth classified information regarding Houthi attack plans that Hegseth promptly turned around and leaked on his personal phone via…

BREAKING: we won! A federal judge has enjoined the administration's shut down of Voice of America Another success for the Constitution and for us @sddaction.bsky.social & our many wonderful partners & clients More details to follow--stay tuned!

And the judges. And the clerks. Strong, persuasive, well-researched writing, under ridiculously tight deadlines.

In this country, everyone has constitutional rights—not just US citizens. Van Hollen did what few have the guts to do—he showed up. In person. For someone our government is using as a pawn. The Constitution says “persons,” not “citizens.” Due process is not optional.

You are here.

Proud to be one of the organizers of this important demonstration. Join is in DC on June 6th.

Proud to submit 2 more amicus briefs today urging courts in DC to stop Trump's unconstitutional & dangerous executive orders targeting law firms. They're plainly “self-declared acts of retribution that target a law firm for representing clients and causes the President disfavors.”

It has been genuinely moving — moved me to tears, actually — to see so much support for our work at @lawfaremedia.org. Since yesterday, 3 additional donors have agreed to match contributions up to 5K each — thank you @judgeluttig.bsky.social for helping us get there! givebutter.com/journalism/a...

It’s almost as though everyone in Trump’s orbit, inside and outside government, gets together on a (non-secure) Zoom call to decide “What’s the most corrupt and illegal thing we can do today? And on some days they can’t reach consensus so they just go ahead and do them all.

Ben Wittes, Roger Parloff, Quinta Jurecic, & Anna Bower, I would be glad to make a “Champion” contribution toward the $15,000 match by your generous donor. Lawfare is literally indispensable in these historic times in which we live.

TAX BREAKS FOR BILLIONAIRES = CUTS TO SOCIAL SECURITY The MAGA Republican plan is a slap in the face to everyone, who has worked their whole life for a comfortable retirement. Stealing our hard-earned benefits to reward corrupt billionaires like Elon Musk will hurt them on election day in 2026.

This is the kind of thing that, if true, leads to life sentences for treason

This picture may haunt me to the end of my days. It is an ICE agent taking an axe to the car window of an immigrant in New Bedford, MA. Not far from where I sit now. An immigrant with no criminal record was abducted by this smiling man. An axe taken to a car window and to our democracy. 1/ #MomSky

Let’s be perfectly clear… When the President defies the Supreme Court, it is ‘the role of Congress’ to remove him from office… Full stop. Any Questions?!

One of the most troubling developments under this new administration is we have a government that fails to keep its promises. We have seen the termination or pause of funding for many essential programs that Michiganders rely on — including Medicaid and Meals on Wheels.

MIT following Harvard's lead here

This is yet another disturbing and unconstitutional example of the Trump Administration targeting people simply for expressing opposing political views. www.wzzm13.com/article/news...

BREAKING: Harvard is standing up and fighting back against Trump – refusing to let the administration “audit” the beliefs of their student body. This is exactly what we need more of.

A very good question!

If the U.S. government is going to take the position that, once removed from the United States, folks can’t be brought back, then it sure seems to me that federal courts should be reflexively and categorically barring *all* removals until they’re 100 percent certain that the removals are lawful.

Donald Trump is actively making people disappear from American streets without due process. If you don’t think it could happen to you, you aren’t taking it seriously enough.

The ACLU is no longer posting on Twitter. They have abandoned their 1.6 million follower account and are now posting on Bluesky. bsky.app/profile/aclu...

The President’s unprecedented Executive Order yesterday targeting Messrs. Chris Krebs and Miles Taylor for nothing but the exercise of their First Amendment rights is the President’s most constitutionally corrupt Executive Order to date.
