What many from that era learned is that what was preached to us from our elders was based on the hope that the battles of the Civil Rights Era were over. They believed that future generations would be judged on merit. They misjudged the hypocrisy and deeply rooted white supremacy in this country.

The President of the Republic of Korea (South Korea), Yoon Suk-yeol, has declared state-wide martial law. In an unscheduled live TV message he said that liberal Korea needs to be protected from North Korea and its communist troops. This is very uncommon.
