One thing that's psychologically fascinating about Bluesky is in the absence of an algorithm you're quite sincerely thrown into a wild west marketplace of ideas and have to survive on, uh... merit. A lot of journalists are finding their ideas aren't popular. Rather, they are just well paid.

One thing I am seeing misreported in the media today about the Skrmetti ruling is a claim that the supreme court ruled this is "about age, not transgender status." SCOTUS also ruled this is about "diagnosis, not transgender status" Bans targeting adults are likely legal under this ruling.

Again, if I had the budget/time, I'd get a tabletop marketing coalition going. GAMA could, but TBH they're not currently structured or staffed to do this well. Individual pubs have so little money - but a rising tide push with collective spend could be powerful. Milk/beef/cotton industries did this.
