Just completed Michael Connelly’s “The Waiting”, a Ballard and Bosch novel that focuses on Detective Renée Ballard tracking a serial rapist whose trail is long cold. Full of twists and turns. Quintessential Connelly. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Just started making barbecue. Sitting in a cold house because our 5 1/2 year old heat pump crapped out yesterday. It’s 62° in the house and it got down to 17° outside last night and now it’s a whopping 23°. Hopefully it gets repaired tomorrow 🙏🏻.
