If you've started watching the brilliant TV series I can highly recommend GraphicAudio's excellent dramatised audiobooks of the original novels.

Good morning. I've just made a cup of tea so strong it's already kicked sand in my face while flexing its muscles. πŸ˜β˜•

'Awake, rise and shine, open, on?' said the Captain. 'It's no good Skiv, Computer is dead. We have no control from the Bridge, no weapons, navigation, nothing.' 'Perhaps if your toothbrush is fully charged you could plug Computer back in and switch on?' said Skiv. 'Ah.' #1LineWed

About an hour ago I was sat in my car, in a car park, minding my own business, reading a vampire novel. It's a bit windy out so a tree branch detached itself and fell noisily on to the roof of my car. It was a very small branch, no damage, but I definitely nearly sh** myself.😁

'Claims I was asleep on duty are mad,' said the Captain. 'I blink slowly, especially while deep in thought.' 'The blanket?' said Skiv. 'The Bridge was cold.' 'Hot milky drink?' 'I refer to my first answer.' 'The teddy bear?' said Skiv. 'He's never seen the Bridge.' #1LineWed

Just thinking about something from my childhood you don't see any more: cars with coat-hanger aerials and single replacement car doors a different colour to the rest of the vehicle.😁 #80s

After steaming in a hot car for half an hour I've come home to a nice, hot, cup of tea.πŸ€”πŸ€¨ Yeah, I don't understand it either.😁

All morning I've been doing just one more thing and then I'll get something for this headache... this post is definitely my last thing before I fetch something for my headache.πŸ™„ So much for a quiet Sunday.

@garethlpowell.bsky.social Finally my library copy of Future's Edge came through, just in time for the long bank holiday weekend. And, flipping heck Gareth it's a great read. πŸ™‚πŸ‘πŸΌ
