My Lorneville roots go back to the Loyalists and Irish immigration. I've never liked that Lorneville got amalgamated with SJ. Fishing communities are incredibly unique and need to be preserved. SJ has been all take and no give. I wish they could belong with us in Fundy Shores. #SaveLorneville

Terry Ryan, what a deke and goal. He has 2 goals!

"Run dat weave." Snoop thinks it's basketball. Lol

#LAStrong is so entertaining.

Justin Bieber is in semifinal 2 for Skate for LA. So is Jeremy Roenick!

I took these last night at my favorite spot out here.

Finland has settled in here. Binnington made a couple of good saves for Canada. Next goal is huge.

Finland started well. They forechecked early and got a couple of chances. Granlund was stopped by Binnington. Kakko had two good shifts. Now, Finland is playing Canada's game.

Great start for Canada. McDavid took advantage of a Hintz giveaway to score his second. Then, MacKinnon converted a mini break on a shaky Lankinen. 2-0.

The Finnish anthem is unique.

Boston fans showed class. Nice to see.

Welcome to Boston, #4Nations

Please don't boo the Canadian anthem. Take the high road. We are better than that. Enjoy the game. #4Nations

Fuck the Canadian fans who booed. It is disrespectful. Here's hoping USA wins this tournament.

Who's gonna watch 4-Nations Face-Off?

These were nice yesterday.

A new post on Steve Valiquette's criticism of the Rangers after last night's underwhelming loss to the Penguins who were without Crosby. #NYR newyorkpuck.com/2025/02/08/v...

It's easy to include the 4 Nations who have the most impact in the NHL. But some big stars are missing.

I will support our side. But it's a meaningless tournament because it only involves 4 countries. It should be 8. I would add Czechia, Switzerland, Germany, and Russia. An eight-team tournament would create more interest. Draisaitl would play. Seider. Pastrnak. Hischier if he was ready. Ovechkin.

Rangers have recalled Dylan Garand from the Hartford Wolf Pack to back up Jonathan Quick tonight in Columbus. Igor Shesterkin has suffered an upper-body injury and is projected to return in 1-2 weeks, which should mean he'll be ready after the 4 Nations break.

In my latest post, the Rangers were outworked by a more determined Penguins who were without Crosby and Malkin last night. It was an embarrassing loss on home ice. Lack of grit exposed. #NYR newyorkpuck.com/2025/02/07/h...

Since J.T. Miller joined NYR: Zibanejad: goal and 4 assists Panarin: 2 goals and 3 assists

Win again and that's two in a row. Three in a row and that's called a winning streak. It has happened before.

J.T. Miller has been excellent in his first two games for the Rangers. He followed up a two-goal debut with two assists in a big comeback win over the Golden Knights. The question is can he provide enough of a boost for the Rangers to go on a run. Their playoff chances still look bleak.

Crosby remains an elite star at 37 on a struggling Penguins team that won't make the playoffs. He's over a point-per-game with 58 points (17-41-58) in 55 games. For his career, Sid has 1654 points in 1327 games. He's ninth on the all-time scoring list. He can pass Mario Lemieux next year.

Brad Marchand has 36 shorthanded goals in his career to lead all active players. His next one will pass Sergei Fedorov for sole possession of eighth all-time.

Pastrnak has 375 career goals. 119 have come on the power play. Will he one day chase down Ovechkin's record?

Ovechkin has 134 GWG in his career, ranking just behind Jagr for the most all-time. Jagr finished with 135.

With an empty netter, Ovechkin scored his 25th of the season. He's 16 away from tying Gretzky.

good morning

This is mesmerizing.

The Norris is a three-horse race. 1. Quinn Hughes 2. Zach Werenski 3. Cale Makar Notable: Shea Theodore.

The Calder race is too close to call. A goalie has a legit shot to win it. 1. Lane Hutson 2. Macklin Celebrini 3. Dustin Wolf Notables: Matvei Michkov
