Required multiplayer to unlock things, in an otherwise single player game was already bad when the game was brand new. But now that it's years old and nobody plays it anymore. Those things are now just unobtainable.

So wait... The whole Pekora Nintendo drama is all stems from a Vtuber buying a bunch of Pokemon carts, and one of them had a hacked item... ... Have people seriously forgot that cheating devices like Game Genie, Gameshark, and Action Replay were around? Like... They were sold IN BIG BOX STORES.

I hate whenever someone brings up "Games were more expensive in the 90s!" as an excuse for why its excusable for games to cost more. Always showing some ad with CAD/AUS pricing. Or ignoring the fact that retailers at the time actually had variation in pricing on things.

Renaming the Gulf of Mexico to 'Gulf of America' just reminds me of when G.W Bush tried to rename French Fries to 'Freedom Fries'. I was too young at the time, but did anyone actually take that seriously? Or did everyone just agree that it was stupid.

I swear the amount of fake phone calls my family has been getting has skyrocketed in the past week. In the past half hour we have gotten at least 5 calls, and *nothing* works to stop them.

I hate that trying to search for *any* sort of technical help these days is just AI garbage spouting the same things: "Install the latest GPU drivers, verify the game files, open this tool then close it without doing anything. Disable overclocks, disable XMP" Stuff that never works.
