Every year on Memorial Day, I share this video of French caretakers who take sand from Omaha Beach in Normandy, and scrub them into the letters to give them the gold coloring. They do this for all 9,386 US soldiers who died. France also gave us this land as American soil.

Before I went to Austin, I spilled a 5 pound bag of flax seeds spilled in my pantry. 😭 I cleaned it up and left the next morning and forgot. I came home last night and found them everywhere! I thought they were bugs! They're on my lampshade, which is nowhere near the pantry. They're everywhere!

On the way back from Austin today, there was a horrific accident on 35, and it was closed for several miles. I passed the accident & it didn't even look like a car anymore. It was upside down & there were only three wheels. There's no way anyone survived it. 😭😭💔 Please be careful out there!
