This is where the National Guard was last mobilized over a state governor’s objection. That governor was segregationist George Wallace. President Lyndon Johnson sent in the National Guard to SUPPORT protesters. Our “leader” is now sending troops to snuff out free speech and assembly. It is wrong.

In a former life a looong time ago, I commanded a National Guard unit. Although though we were very well trained in our primary mission, I would never have put my men on the streets in a riot. It is not what soldiers are trained for. Federalizing troops without training in LA is inviting chaos.
