The catharsis in this "disability rage" story feels all the more relevant given the governmental attacks on disabled people (from gutting healthcare via the budget, to flouting the ADA via the DOE, to messing with vaccines via the CDC.... it's everywhere) bsky.app/profile/kier...

Absolutely. Its just like the people claiming that you can spot AI writing by it using em-dashes or whatever, it has that tendency because many professional writers have that tendency. The machine designed for regurgitating patterns from its input data and that is a pattern.

I keep seeing reports of non-AI users being told that an AI detector has dubbed their work AI generated, and it makes me insane because: 1) AI detection tools *are themselves AI* and thus entirely bullshit; and 2) if an AI was trained on your works, of COURSE it’ll flag you as sounding “like” AI!
