Kaya's whole thread here. This is why it's a huge bright red flag when a press says they do not keep royalties in a separate account. Just about every time a press (or store) implodes owing people money, it's because they spent royalties instead of holding them to pay out.

Not every TV show needs to be super serious, dark, and adult. Its totally fine for a show to be lighthearted, funny, even goofy. We need a good balance, not just in TV, but in movies and video games and comic books. We need the dark and the funny, the fun and the serious. These are hard times.
