I am very very grateful for all the self tapes coming in. For many years it was a dream to have 1 a month and now I average 2 a week. However, dear universe, I'd love a few more of them to be for TV ( and especially to have a few soaps in the mix) Throwing it out into the ether...

I'm in a Co Op soo I get to see the Spotlight breakdowns that go to agents. The last two breakdowns I saw that were perfect for me in age and casting type both got a push from the agency. The replies to both said they were already out on offer. How do I ever get a foot in the door?

It's easy as an actor to think you haven't had the break because you're not good enough. Today I have been emailing Casting Directors from the soaps because I'm a flipping good actor and jolly nice person and at some point one of them will realise it and send me a self-tape.😁
