come on dude we’re running out of cards

It’s not wrong

That severance episode makes me feel like I gotta go rewatch the whole dang show again with this new info. 🤯

Next year, the EU will require cars to have buttons & dials -- not just touchscreens -- to get a top safety rating. This is a great move. Drivers can fiddle with knobs & buttons without taking their eyes off the road, but they can't do that with touchscreens. (Even better: Tesla will hate this)

I’m having more success getting an LLM to write codemods that I can repeat over a large code base than to have them do the changes directly.

@johngreensbluesky.bsky.social Just finished The Anthropocene Reviewed. I’ll resist the tractor beam pull to provide a star rating. Instead, I’d just like to thank you for writing it. I enjoyed the read and I hope that means more than any amount of stars could.

Created a just-joshin-around slack channel at work and invited all of the Joshes my company. 😂

The endorsements for endorsements is very meta.

Spent this weekend shredding a bunch of papers that I had been putting off. I gave up and just threw out a bunch of it out. I've gotten to the point where I just don't care anymore. Feels like there is way more info about me online anyway.

I currently have a 63x31.5” IKEA desktop and it seems too big. I just end up with crap piled on top. Anyone out there have a desk size they like?

#Coffee people talk about their favorite beans, process, tools, etc. I’ve tried some of them and I always just go back to drinking bulk ground coffee in a drip machine. I can taste the difference, but it’s just never enough to justify the extra cost and effort. 🤷‍♂️

I’m giving away five free avatars for #GivingTuesday! Comment and share to enter the giveaway 🙂 I encourage you to find a good cause and give!

Setup octoprint on a pi zero with a camera for my 3d printer over the break. So far so good. Hoping to make it more accessible for my kids to print in their own.

Pulled out my semi expensive outdoor LED Christmas lights and they have sections out. This is worse than the incandescent lights.
