In 1971, the Jim Crow era was over, but oppression carried on. Jimmy Carter was sworn in as Governor of Georgia. In his Inaugural address, he declared “the time for racial discrimination is over”. President Carter always had the spine to speak up, no matter the cost of the cause. Be like Carter.
