Best local birding is along the Seine near Pont de Normandie. A fabulous reserve with reed beds and hunters’ and other ponds.Loads cuckoos & nightingales today we saw so much…marsh warblers bluethroats included and photographed this whinchat whitethroat and garden warbler #birding

I was just about to post a rant about lack of diversity and no birds in our agricultural fields patch but today rewarded by a food passing pair of hen harriers and a female Montagus Now it’s up to us to find and report the nests for protection. A happy Summer pastime.
