What an honor to rep Techstars SD at Vancouver Startup Week, alongside Misti Cain, Cathy Pucher, and the founders of StoryTap and Sigen AI!

As a dev, do you ever look forward to being woken up at 2am by an oncall alert? I HATED it. So why has no startup looked into building an AI agent that attempts to do basic mitigation, making for smoother oncall? The first "startup" that is doing it is... Microsoft:

Guys, you're still trying to replace Twitter. I'm telling you we can't do it. Now what we might be able to do is recreate it. Recreate it in the aggregate.

Being a 10X engineer is not the real flex. The real flex is being the guy that hires the 10X engineers.

First baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and the Toronto Blue Jays are in agreement on a 14-year, $500 million contract extension, pending physical, sources tell ESPN. A monumental, no-deferral deal to keep the homegrown star in Toronto for the rest of his career.

I like to rank the films I watch on a 1-10 scale. Every so often (as someone who dorks out about measurement), I worry about my ranking process because very few things ever go as low as 6. So, in that respect, I would like to thank the Minecraft Movie for being my first 3 of 2025.
