Saw @joshjohnsoncomedy.bsky.social live on the weekend, on his Flowers tour. It was good. No surprise on the marquee topic given the news early last week, and well delivered.

Google and Meta search both report that Cape Breton Island has its own time zone 12 minutes ahead of mainland Nova Scotia time because they are both drawing that information from a Beaverton article I wrote in 2024

June 9, 1993: The Montreal Canadiens won the Stanley Cup, defeating the Los Angeles Kings. It was the last Stanley Cup won in the Montreal Forum, the last Stanley Cup won by a team composed of only North Americans, and (to date) the last Stanley Cup won by a Canadian team.

"Like a rolling Stone". I always thought the lyrics were "Through the bumps of time" Last month when we watched A Complete Unknown I finally got it: "Threw the bums a dime". Makes a lot more sense in the story of the song!
