I can handwave away a lot of the complaints about The Reality War, but the mixed messaging of "Belinda is happy being a mum and a housewife because this is the screwed-up fantasy of a misogynist" and "what Belinda really wants is to be a single mum" is a bit fucked up.

So I think I can justify a lot of that on a fannish level. It felt a lot like a comic strip arc, in the series construction as well as in the finale itself. That's all well and good. But that ending, I'm worried really won't do the show any good in the court of public opinion. #DoctorWho
