I went through this weird phase as a teenager where I watched MAS*H every day. (I also recruited one sister and several friends into this endeavour.) Loretta Swit was so funny and sometimes so heart-wrenching as Hot Lips Houlihan. She took this caricature of a woman and made her a whole person.
