Speaking as someone who has spent decades working in cybersecurity, and even longer as a hacker... This is exactly what you do when you hack/penetrate a system illicitly, and don't want to be caught/tracked. This is not something you do when you are working on a system legitimately.

Getting pigeoned into a role is usually the death knell for me. I get an inordinate amount of anxiousness when I feel it oncoming (it’s always networking), as I like to get my hands on as many things as possible to keep sharp. I love networking, but I really dislike living in a bubble.
