Yahweh: Person, Place or God? The answer is "yes" and in that order. The Ancient Egyptian king, Amenhotep III built a temple at Soleb in Kush dedicated to his victories on the battlefield. On the columns was "Ta Shasu Yhwh". This was the first known time that the word had been written; c.1365 BCE.
