Unfortunately, completely innocent bystanders are just as likely to be impacted as the illiterate Pro-Disease camp who embrace snake oil remedies.

Sounds like RFK, Jr. managed to pick some losers of epic proportions to replace the qualified scientists for the ACIP committee.

Truer words never spoken.

This is what integrity looks like. Unfortunately TACO doesn’t apply.

If it quacks like a duck, then RFK, Jr. sucks at his job.

To be clear, the title refers to unreliable vaccine information, meaning the BS RFK, Jr. spouts, not the proven efficacy shown by clinical trials. But the difference seems to be illiteracy causing erosion of trust and embracing of conspiracy theories.

The Senators, especially @SenBillCassidy and @RepGregMurphy who voted for RFK, Jr. and destruction of US healthcare deserve an eternal itchy butthole and much more.

“This is an unmitigated public health disaster,” said Dr. Sean O’Leary, chair of the infectious disease committee for the American Academy of Pediatrics. Story by @apoorvanyt.bsky.social Gift link: nyti.ms/4mV37YK

HHS Secretary RFK Jr. is a danger to the public’s health and should resign or be fired, says APHA. In just a few short weeks, his actions on vacccines, fluoride and other public health science have shown how wrong he is for the job. Read & share our statement: apha.org/news-and-med...

Despite @SenBillCassidy attesting otherwise, the blood will be on his hands for selling out the American people.

As of 1900, nearly one in five, American children died before their fifth birthday. The most common causes were infectious diseases. Today, by contrast, less than 1% of children die before the age of 5. Science saves lives! Vaccines save lives!

I have confidence science will prevail. And with blood on their hands the corrupt politicians will have to answer for God for their sins.

We are lucky to have access to a competent medical panels professional evaluation of vaccine policy to provide perspective to the disinformation currently being spread by the dumbass snake oil salesman currently in charge of US health policy.

This is entirely backassward. The experts on healthcare policy have been fired and the dumbass our Senators have running HHS pulls policies out of his ass. www.statnews.com/2025/06/09/r...

I learn something new almost every day.

LAPD has had a horrible reputation for as long as I can remember. They should be able to identify this officer and suspend him pending investigation and place him in a position that does not allow him to carry a weapon.

Worrying to see increasing levels of measles in parts of UK and Europe- if you are not vaccinated please do consider the MMR which is a safe way to prevent a potentially deadly disease

So much more to learn about how the GI microbiome influences disease, drug metabolism and other physiological processes. Fascinating area of evolving research.

I’m interested in how this plays out.

Some people still place ethics above profit.

Based on this trajectory, together with recent layoff announcements, the US economy is about to take one hell of a hit. Buckle up for a bumpy ride.

The brain drain will cause a shift in the balance of power in the global economy.

Uninsured translates into hospital’s providing unreimbursed care.

This is not shaping up to be a good year for farmers.

Horrific. One figure burned into my brain from pulm fellowship is the relationship between inhaled steroid use and MORTALITY in asthma. Inadequate access to inhaled steroids will cause people to suffocate to death. #EMIMCC

I have to say Pete is making a lot of good points. Few are more on point than willfully derailing cancer research.

Worse than that, they are minimizing measles with the same talking points they used with Covid. youtu.be/_Tw6TSGQ_vA?...

What’s the world coming to, reasonable people are defending Marjorie Taylor Greene.

This is the best analogy I’ve seen on how devastating the gutting of NIH really impacts future research.

Why has research not been fully committed to studying both sexes in the past? Currently, medical research has a longstanding focus to study diseases in males, with the results then being applied to females. But I think pretty much everyone I know can agree, women are not the same as men.

A refreshingly honest news professional describes the impact of government cuts to NOAH. This hurricane season could be a wild and bumpy ride folks.

Think about the economic ramifications of this for the greater Baltimore area. This is why I’m fairly sure we’re going to have a recession even if tariffs get blocked.

Harvard slams the Trump admin's “shoot first, aim never” attacks on the university. The admin "fails to explain how the termination of funding for research to treat cancer, support veterans, and improve national security addresses antisemitism." Doc storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

Evidently being vaccinated to protect against measles exposure actually does work. Maybe next RFK, Jr. will come to the same conclusion about Covid and papilloma vaccines.

Dear Lord. Please save us from the ignorance pervasive in this administration.

Think this accurately sums up the Republican healthcare agenda.

Seems even more relevant today.

Margaret Brennan totally exposes FDA Commissioner Makary for making it up as he goes and making conflicting recommendations in order to cast doubt on covid vaccines. He's so terrible during this interview that Brennan is left shaking her head as she wraps it up.

Makery’s reasoning was entirely incoherent. Unconvincing recommendation parents and pregnant women consult with their doctor, failing to address the compelling evidence that vaccination reduces complications. Totally incompetent, devious, dangerous, lying idiots running public health care policy.

You can say that again.

Totally agree with this recommendation to vaccinate pets, including horses, for rabies.

Humorous take on DOGE’s destruction.

Mischaracterization, I’m afraid. Rural folk are usually polite because they depend on their neighbors.
